Definition of virus

virus is program which made by people of programmer and have the character of damaged. virus of infection of file by extention is certain file, exe, com, txt, jpg, and others.

virus can be differentiated to become some part. For example :

1. File Virus

Attack of run file by an operating system.

2. Macro Virus

Created by language program, so having the character of independent platform

3. Boot Sector Virus

Representating of general virus, duplicate their self with replace original boot sector on the disk, so at the time booting, virus will run direct to memory

4. Polimorphic Virus

Virus designed for fooling the Anti Virus program, with change structure their self after run the command.

5. Stealth Virus

Controlling instructions DOS level with take over interrupt table.

Difference of virus with other computer program.

1. Ability to get important information.

Virus designed by program to infected many file or program. For example, virus will contagious entire file .txt or .htt, so virus will search information about existing file. After virus get that information, they will saved in memory or in a file what have been set to become hidden files.

2. Ability to check program or file.

When to infected a file, virus must can check whether that file have infected or not. Usually, virus will check byte that use by virus, or with other the sign. If the sign is on so virus don’t infected that files. But, virus will contagious the healthy file.

3. Ability to duplicate their self.

This ability have to be own by virus, because this ability used to duplicate the virus. Sometimes virus will set the sign and insert program to multiply virus.

4. Ability to cheating.

This ability used to peeping out message, picture, delete files, stealing data/ file, etc.

5. Ability to hid their self and made data.

Entire activities used by virus must not to seen, for user or computer.this is can be beautiful from a virus. Usually we can see all prosesses in computer. The good virus isn’t caught prosesses by that trapping.an surely if can avoid detected a anti virus.

So, we must be careful for example : don't install flashdisk promiscuously.This activities can be virus activated.
